CPL
completed an extremely rewarding summer reading program on Monday, July
20. The theme, Every Hero Has a Story, was an easy topic with local heroes presenting a program each of the eight weeks. (See post below for pics of the "heroes".)

Forty-two children were enrolled in the CPL summer reading program. The children participated in crafts, stories, games and were treated to snacks at the end of each session.

The
two top readers were Zach Rich and Alice Allen. These two received
certificates and special awards. All participants received a
certificate and a goodie bag.
For the end of the SRP party, the yard was decorated like an Hawaiian Luau and kids worked on breaking a "palm tree" piƱata. Refreshments included hot dogs, chips and drinks for everyone.
