Mark your calendar for a special concert of Western songs. Yee-haw! Yippy ki-yay! Grab your hat and git on down there on May 7, y'all hear?

ENMU-Ruidoso Community Choir's Western Songbook concert will be

 Sunday, May 7, 3 PM,

 at the Flying J Ranch, 1070 State Hwy 48, Alto.

  A choral concert with a Western theme: from traditional songs like

 Home on the Range and  Billy the Kid

 to songs like Tumbling Tumbleweeds and Ghost Riders in the Sky 

 from the golden age of Western movies and TV.

These songs represent not only Western style, but also tango (O Fair New Mexico),

 spiritual, jazz (Route 66), Broadway (Anything You Can Do), even classical! 

 Tickets are $5 at ENMU-Ruidoso, 709 Mechem Dr., or at the door.
