Capigram
If you can't read the newsletter above, here's is the main post:
Did you know?
· Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird of the United States
· Since 1947, the National Turkey Federation has presented a live turkey and two dressed turkeys to the President. The President does not eat the live turkey. He "pardons" it and allows it to live out its days on a historical farm.
· The five most popular ways to serve leftover turkey is as a sandwich, in stew, chili or soup, casseroles and as a burger.

Nov. 6 @ 7 PM - Foot-tapping music at the Library.
Capitan Public Library presents for the 1st Friday Event of November the music of "The Hopefuls". The music begins at 7 PM on Friday, Nov. 6.
Come join us for some good 'ole foot-tapping music by local musicians:
Roland Burnett, Dale Boren, Roy Black, Randy Jones, Corinna Ripple & Chuck George.
These musicians strum and sing some mighty fine Western, gospel and old-time music for our listening pleasure.
Plus, nothing like a good rhyming cowboy to put a smile on your face, so get ready to enjoy poetic compositions by cowboy poet, Chuck George.
Refreshments afterwards.
