Simpson's favorite photographs are those of wildlife and nature because she is able to capture "what God has given us—the way God has given it to us.", but she promised us some ranch, rodeo and cowboy-themed photos to go along with the Stampede. Book Club July Book

The Book Club's Thursday, July 2, meeting is cancelled because of the holiday. Stay tune for the new date when they meet to review the July book choice: The Girl who Saved the King of Sweden by Jonas Jonasson.  Gives you more time to get it read!

Lincoln County Code Red is asking residents and others with property in Lincoln County to please go to their website and sign up to be notified by your local emergency response team in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. 

Emergency Examples include: evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.

Please go to www.lincolncountynm.gov and click on the Code Red Banner to enter/update your information, including additional phone numbers, and text and email addresses, to ensure all of the data in the system is accurate and current.

If you know of anyone who did not recently receive a call/text/email from CODE RED, please encourage them to visit the Lincoln County website and enter their information.

If you do not have Internet access, please contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information to the emergency database. You can also call the Lincoln County Office of Emergency service directly at 575-336-8600 for assistance. 

1st Friday Program this Friday (June 5th)

The Archuletas will share the stories of women
who wove the fabric of what has become known as
"The Land of Enchantment" at the lecture at the library
Friday night @ 7 p.m.  These women have been honored by Historical Markers across the state. 

After the discussion, refreshments will be served and
 the Archuletas will have copies of their book
available for purchase and signatures..
