Unveiling of the New Mexico Fallen WILDLAND Firefighter Memorial

 Capitan Public Library & N2SS were invited to attend this beautiful and moving dedication of the first, New Mexico Fallen Wildland Firefighter Memorial 

Paulette Arnone & Kay McNeer represented CPL & N2SS at the ceremony

Capitan mayor, Capitan village personnel and members of the Smokey Bear Hometown Association from surrounding areas & Colorado were in attendance.

Viewing of the memorial will be part of Smokey Bear Days and Smokey's 75th Birthday on May 3 & 4.
